Lab 1.2 - LED Light Glove


For the second part of Lab 1 the assignment was to create the series and parallel LED circuits using protoboard and then incorporate one of the circuits in some kind of creative enclosure. Considering I had never made a wearable before I decided that it could be fun and pretty simple to create an LED light glove for drawing long-exposure light trail photos.

I started with a prototype of the parallel circuit on my breadboard:

then soldered the circuit together on the protoboard and used hot glue to seal in the components:

And finally, I affixed the setup to a cloth glove:

The button is in the palm to make it easy to activate the LED's for light drawing:
